About this file

This site visit registration form is issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division Department of Administration for solicitation 44DOC-S3755, a boiler preventative maintenance and service contract for the Nevada Department of Corrections. The solicitation was posted on June 1, 2026, with a proposal submission deadline of May 29, 2026. The Nevada Department of Corrections requires all interested vendors to attend a mandatory site visit prior to proposal submission to qualify for consideration. Vendors must register in advance by submitting the completed registration form via email to Joel Wixon, Purchasing Officer II, at j.wixon@admin.nv.gov by the specified registration deadline. The site visit is designed to allow prospective vendors to inspect the facilities at ten correctional institutions statewide, including Ely State Prison, Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center, High Desert State Prison, Lovelock Correctional Center, Northern Nevada Correctional Center, Northern Nevada Transitional Housing, Pioche Conservation Camp, Southern Desert Correctional Center, Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp, and Warm Springs Correctional Center. During the site visit, vendors may take photographs of facilities but are prohibited from photographing people, computer screens, or areas containing personally identifiable information, and must not interact with State staff, customers, or other facility personnel not directly involved with the site visit.

The solicitation requires vendors to hold a current C1-A Boiler license from the Nevada Contractor's Board and provide detailed preventative maintenance schedules, standard hourly repair rates for business hours service, and emergency repair rates for after-hours and weekend calls. All personnel must complete background clearance requirements and pass background checks and PREA questionnaires, with no ex-felons permitted to work at facilities. The contract term covers fiscal years 2027 through 2030 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030), with cost proposals required to include annual contract totals for each fiscal year. Services are currently funded for three facilities with intent to expand to additional facilities as funding becomes available. The specific contract award value is not disclosed in the solicitation materials. Vendors must submit a reference questionnaire by May 28, 2026, and the State reserves the right to reject any or all responses and award contracts based on the proposal best meeting State needs and evaluation criteria. Contract termination may occur without cause with 30 days' notice, and the State typically processes invoice payments within 45 to 60 days of receipt.
