About this file

This is a Cost Schedule document from the Nevada Department of Corrections soliciting proposals for boiler preventative maintenance and service across ten correctional facilities. The contract covers Ely State Prison, Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center, High Desert State Prison, Lovelock Correctional Center, Northern Nevada Correctional Center, Northern Nevada Transitional Housing, Pioche Conservation Camp, Southern Desert Correctional Center, Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp, and Warm Springs Correctional Center. Vendors must provide itemized lists of preventative maintenance services and service frequencies for each facility, with annual contract totals required for fiscal years 2027 through 2030 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030).

The cost proposal requires vendors to establish standard hourly repair rates for routine, nonemergency services performed during defined business hours, as well as emergency repair rates for urgent conditions posing immediate risk to safety, property, or critical operations that occur outside standard hours, on weekends, or on state-recognized holidays. Vendors must also specify any after-hours rates for nonemergency services, define emergency response procedures and expected response times, identify minimum service hours charged per emergency call-out, and disclose any additional fees including trip charges, minimum labor charges, and material markups. All fees must be clearly identified in the proposal; any fees not listed will not be permitted during contract performance.
