About this file

This supplemental terms and conditions document establishes additional contractual requirements for purchase orders issued by Salt Lake City Corporation's Department of Airports for a Runway Closure Marker procurement (SLCI26088). The document outlines the City's operational requirements, safety standards, and compliance obligations that apply beyond the standard purchase order terms. Key provisions include the City's right to perform corrective work at the contractor's expense if work is not completed properly within twenty-four hours' notice, contractor responsibility for damage to City property, and sole contractor responsibility for employee safety and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, ADA, and FAA regulations. The contractor must obtain Utah State registration if operating under an assumed business name and maintain full responsibility for Airport security compliance under FAR Part 1542, including ensuring all personnel obtain appropriate Airport-issued identification badges after passing TSA security training and fingerprint-based criminal history checks.

The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage throughout the contract term and any renewal periods, including workers' compensation per Utah law, commercial general liability insurance with Salt Lake City Corporation named as an additional insured on a primary and non-contributory basis with minimum coverage of $2,500,000 per occurrence, and commercial automobile liability insurance with minimum combined single limits of $2,500,000 per occurrence. All insurance policies must be issued by companies licensed in Utah with A.M. Best ratings of A- or better and must provide thirty days' prior written notice before cancellation or modification. The contractor must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related nondiscrimination statutes and authorities, including provisions prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, creed, and sexual orientation. The contract is subordinate to all existing or future federal agreements with the City for Airport improvement and operation, and the City reserves the right to develop or improve the Airport as needed without contractor interference.
