About this file

This document is a Request for Preference form issued by the Incorporated County of Los Alamos Procurement Division, located at 101 Camino Entrada, Building 3, Los Alamos, NM 87544. The form allows potential vendors to request various business preference classifications when submitting a proposal for a county solicitation, including Local (Los Alamos) Business, Resident (New Mexico) Business, Native American Resident Business, Resident Veteran Business, and combinations thereof. To qualify for preferences, offerors must submit a valid state-issued preference certificate and meet specific criteria, such as having a principal office in Los Alamos County for local preference or maintaining annual gross revenues under $6 million for certain preference types.

The form outlines specific certification requirements for preference requests, including that companies must meet the defined preference type criteria, understand that preference requests cannot be modified after the solicitation closing date, and acknowledge that preference factors will be applied according to current County Code and New Mexico state regulations. The county reserves the right to verify submitted information and deny preference requests if applicable requirements are not met. Potential offerors must carefully review and accurately complete the form, checking the appropriate preference type boxes and providing necessary documentation to be considered for preferential treatment in the solicitation process.
