About this file

This document is a Notice to Bidders issued by a city government in Texas, providing critical instructions for potential contract bidders. The notice emphasizes that contract and insurance requirements are non-negotiable, and any modifications to material contract terms will result in a non-responsive bid being rejected. Bidders must be prepared to sign the contract as-is, provide properly executed bonds if applicable, and furnish specific insurance documentation within 21 days of the transmittal letter. Additionally, bidders are required to carry worker's compensation insurance in compliance with Texas state statutes.

The document outlines strict compliance requirements for vendors, specifically referencing Texas Government Code Sections 2252.908 and 176.006. Vendors are directed to specific state ethics websites for detailed compliance instructions. The notice warns that failure to comply with award terms may result in a vendor being declared "irresponsible" and being barred from bidding for a minimum of six months, as determined by the City Manager. The document provides web links for vendors to access further information about ethics forms and compliance procedures.
