Answer 4 Roof trusses are to be light gauge metal roof trusses designed by truss supplier.
Question 5 Detail 2 & 4/30052-AE191 call for 4" spray foam Insulation with Intumescent paint to be applied to the underside of the existing wood roof structure where the existing standing seam roof is being removed and replaced. Is this same spray foam and intumescent paint to be applied to the underside of the existing slate roof that is to remain?
Answer 5 No.
Question 6 Is the installation of the IGC's the same as the PPC's installation except for no requirement for 6" HDPE underdrains in the IGC's?
Answer 6 IGC stands for In-Ground Cremains, PPC stands for Precast Preplaced Crypt. IGCs do not have any precast structure installed beneath the burial plot. They do not have the same installation. IGC Burials are a grading exercise.
Question 7 Are the IGC's double depth crypts?
Answer 7 No. Per the plans, IGC is In-Ground Cremains burial type. They are not crypts. See Answer 6.
Question 8 Based on detail 2/CJ501, it appears that the geosynthetic fabric is to be placed up the side of the crypts around the entire perimeter of the crypt field. is this correct?
Answer 8 Correct. The intention of the geosynthetic fabric is to provide a barrier on the edge of the crypt installation to prevent pea gravel from spilling over, as well as provide a barrier for general fill soil around the crypts and underdrain from contaminating free draining aggregates. An addendum will include revised details on sheets CJ501 and CJ502 to clarify this intent.
Question 9 Also, detail 2/CJ501 appears to require a perimeter underdrain around each crypt field. This perimeter underdrain is not indicated on the Site Utility drawings CU102 - CU106. Is this perimeter drain required?
Answer 9 Detail 2/CJ501 shows underdrain in a schematic view for reference. The underdrain layout is shown on the CU sheet series, and no additional perimeter underdrain is required beyond what is shown.
Question 10 Detail 2/CJ501 shows a perimeter drain around the PPC's. A note on this detail says "See plans for horizontal and vertical layout." The Utility plans CU102 - CU104 do not show this perimeter drain. The Utility drawings show the Crypt Underdrain Laterals (4/CJ501). Are the Perimeter drains required?
Answer 10 Detail 2/CJ501 shows underdrain in a schematic view for reference. The underdrain layout is shown on the CU sheet series, and no additional perimeter underdrain is required beyond what is shown.
Question 11 Detail 2/CJ501 shows non-woven geosynthetic fabric going up the sides of the perimeter crypts. Detail 5/CJ501 does not indicate geosynthetic fabric to be placed up the crypts in the crypt aisles. 5/CJ501 does indicate that the fill to be used in the aisles is common fill. Is it correct that no geosynthetic fabric is required in the crypt Aisles? Over time, the common fill will move down into the drain rock and block the flow of water at all of the irrigation Ailes.
Answer 11 The intention of the geosynthetic fabric is to provide a barrier on the edge of the crypt installation to prevent pea gravel from spilling over, as well as provide a barrier for general fill soil around the crypts and underdrain from contaminating free draining aggregates. An addendum will include revised details on sheets CJ501 and CJ502 to clarify this intent.

Approximately half of Cemetery Road A, along the west side of the sections 15, 15, and 17, Kuder Place along the north of section 15, and Indiana Ave along the south of section 17 is within this 30-foot distance. Concrete trucks and Asphalt trucks will exceed the 12,000 lbs per axle and the asphalt rollers will exceed the axle load and will likely require vibration to achieve the asphalt density required of 92%-98%. Will the load and vibration restriction distance be reduced in the areas where road construction is within the 30-foot limits of the crypts?
Answer 15 Specification Section 03 48 21 – 3.7.J relates to equipment limits over the crypts during installation operations and afterward after final backfilling. 03 48 21 – 3.7.K requires signage be placed to alert operators to avoid crypt areas. 03 48 21 – 3.7.N limits stockpiling of materials and crypts higher than 4-feet within 10-yards of the installed crypts. 03 48 21 – 3.7.O limits equipment weight on areas adjacent to the crypts within 10-yards of installed crypts.
