About this file
This document is an addendum (No. 04) to the contract for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Tier 3DC project at James H. Quillen VAMC in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The addendum, issued April 8, 2026, clarifies the Table of Contents and makes minor formatting corrections to the project manual spanning 90 pages.
The modifications remove Section 27 15 00 (Communications Structured Cabling) from the Table of Contents and eliminate three references to this section from Section 23 09 23 (Direct-Digital Control System for HVAC) at paragraphs 2.12.C, 2.12.E, and 3.1.B.2. Additionally, in Section 27 11 00 (Telecommunications Room Fittings), the footer label is corrected from 'ROOF' to 'ROOM'. The document also includes two comprehensive specification sections: Section 23 09 23 detailing requirements for a BACnet-compliant direct-digital control system for HVAC with specific hardware, software, and performance standards; and Section 27 11 00 specifying telecommunications room equipment including enclosures, cabinets, power management systems, grounding requirements, cable management, and installation procedures with detailed technical characteristics and compliance standards for equipment mounting and configuration.
