We see notes on M6.01 under the VAV schedule for a deductive and additive Alternate #3. The removal of VAVs 20-23 and the addition of a single VAV 24. There appears to be a piping layout for the changes within this deduct and add but there appears to be no duct change drawings indicating what they want to happen. Will there be additional drawings coming out to indicate the needed duct changes?
1. Bid alternates have been removed from the project. Any reference to Bid Alternate #3 is no longer to be considered, VAV-24 in the schedule on M6.01 is no longer to be considered for this project. The references to Bid alternate #3 on sheets M6.07 and M6.08 (using the existing chilled water system in lieu of the new cooling towers) are also no longer to be considered for this project.
2. Specifications will supersede drawing notes, wet area and equipment duct to be stainless. Any lab hoods or biosafety cabinets would need stainless steel exhaust.
3. Drawing sheet M 2.05 shows steam and condensate piping to equipment.

We do not see a duct material schedule. There is a note on M0.00 that says all duct to be galvanized. However, the specs indicate they want stainless steel for wet area duct and wet equipment exhaust which contradicts the note on M0.00. Also is all the other duct galvanized or do specific areas with exhaust being feed from the venturi valves need to be stainless steel?
Specifications will supersede drawing notes, wet area and equipment duct to be stainless. Any lab hoods or biosafety cabinets would need stainless steel exhaust.

The steam and condensate drawings for sterilization equipment needed as we do not see these systems and components shown or listed in these lines.
Drawing sheet M 2.05 shows steam and condensate piping to equipment.

Asking for some clarity on what is require Cat6 or Cat6A for the horizontal cabling. It shows Cat6 on many of the diagrams on E-005. But I believe many VA projects have been Cat6A historically
Use Cat 6A
15
As far as the backbone cabling. Is a riser sheet that shows more of what is needed as far as copper and/or fiber cable size and type
We do not have a riser sheet for this because we aren't doing the infrastructure of multiple tr's. It is just the one and we show on plans the pathway for the fiber backbone. It will need to be a multimode fiber. 24 strand OM4
