| Noise levels during patient care and the potential for anything heavy/unsecure coming through the ceiling are concerns for the entire area (Nuc Med, MRI, Ultrasound, office spaces). Considerations for Nuc Med SPECT and PET: |
• The cameras have crystals that need to remain stable, but it would take fairly significant vibration to cause artifacts on the images.
• The MRI is Very susceptible to vibrations, drilling/jackhammering on the grounds around, or on the roof above have potential to cause issues with images and disrupt the magnetic field and frequencies, which may cause issues with the machines

| On some projects submittal exchange is provided for the project by The VA. It does not appear to specify if we will be required to use Submittal Exchange on this project. Can the VA verify if we are required to use Submittal Exchange or if the VA is providing any online submittal platform for this project? |

| Specification section 01 35 26 requires the Prime Contractor to provide an SSHO for the project and that individual is to be on site any time construction activities are occurring. It is unclear from the specifications if the SSHO may be a dual hat employee that also serves as the Superintendent for the project. Can the VA please clarify if they are requiring separate individuals to perform the role of SSHO and the role of Superintendent? |
