About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 36C26126R0052 regarding the replacement of fire and security alarm systems in Buildings 911 and 98, dated July 30, 2026.
The document addresses two key inquiries from potential contractors. The first question concerns the scope and specifications for an access control system with card readers that was confirmed as required work in Amendment 005, Question 63. The contractor noted that the provided security drawing sheets (ES-100, ES-101, ES-200, ES-201, and ES-202) do not contain access control system details, only intrusion alarm and CCTV components, and requested updated drawings, system layout, and brand specifications to accurately cost the access control work. The Government's response clarified that no additional drawing set is currently available; the awarded contractor will be required to provide redlined drawings with access control updates upon project completion for inclusion in the as-built dataset. The second question addressed whether subcontractor past performance can be used to satisfy specialized experience requirements. The Government confirmed that key subcontractors' past performance may be utilized to demonstrate specialized experience.
