AMENDMENT 5 TO SOLICITATION 36C26026R0076
This is Standard Form 30, an Amendment to Solicitation issued by the NCO 20 Network Contracting Office on June 4, 2026, with an effective date of June 16, 2026. The amendment clarifies requirements for Blast Resistant Door Assemblies under specification section 08 11 13. The contracting officer clarifies that while door assemblies must be constructed to specification, a fully blast-resistant door is not required. Door panels shall be a minimum of 14 gauge and are not required to be explicitly designed for blast. However, door panels must bear against a continuous stop and frame designed and anchored for blast, as specified in subsection 2.1.A.2. Contractors may alternatively provide a fully blast-resistant door that exceeds the specification requirements if they choose to do so.
The proposal submission deadline remains unchanged, with proposals due no later than 1200 PM Pacific Time on June 17, 2026. Offerors/bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the deadline by completing and returning the amendment, acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted, or by separate letter or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to provide timely acknowledgment may result in rejection of the offer. The requisition/purchase requisition number is 653-23-100, and the contract ID code is 36C26026R0076. Stephen Slaby is the Contracting Officer administering this amendment.

The purpose of Amendment 5 is to further clarify the requirements for the Blast Resistant Door Assemblies as follows:
The door must be constructed to the specification, but we do not require a fully blast resistent door. As stated in specification section 08 11 13, subparagraph 2.1.A.2.c door panels shall be a minimum of 14 gauge and “are not required to be explicitly designed for blast.” However, as stated in 2.1.A.2.a door panels shall bear against a continuous stop and frame designed and anchored for blast. Please refer to subsection 2.1.A.2 in its totality for all door blast requirements. The contractor may alternatively provide a fully blast resistant door that exceeds spec section 08 11 13 requirements, if they so choose.
The proposal due date and time remains unchanged. Proposals are due no later than 1200 PM Pacific Time on 17 June 2026.
Stephen Slaby Contracting Officer
