Amendment 0003

520-22-166 Miscellaneous Generator Repairs and Improvements

A. The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to RFI’s.

B. Responses to RFI’s:

1. Per SOW, ACCU-1 Chill Water Pump is to be replaced. Will this pump require a VFD with bypass or will it remain on a disconnect switch?

If a VFD is required, what is the line voltage and HP of the motor to be installed? It will require a new VFD w/bypass. The line voltage for the motor is 480V and it will require a 5HP motor and pump.

2. For 11 New VAV boxes to be installed no GPM flow per box is provided on schedule. Can Reheat Supply Water Temperature, Air Handler Supply Air

Temperature, and Required Reheat Temperature delta for VAV boxes be provided to calculate valve/coil size?

Entering Water Temp 160 degrees. Entering Air Temperature is 55 degrees. The delta T for air across the coil shall be 40 degrees.

3. ACCU-1 drawing does not show supply/return temp sensors or flow meter. Will the new chiller require these sensors to be installed?

Yes. Provide both temperature and flow sensors.

4. Can rooms in close proximity to each other utilize a common Room Condition

Monitor or does each room require its own Room Condition Monitor?

Yes. Rooms in close proximity to each other can utilize a common Room Condition

Monitor.

5. Are all EMCS Field Panels related to the chiller/AHU10 portion of the project on emergency power or will emergency power circuits be required to installed to these field panels?

Emergency power circuits will be required for the EMCS Field Panels.
