About this file
This document outlines two federal contract opportunities for replacement of chillers at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The first opportunity involves replacing the operating room chiller under Project 621-19-125, and the second replacing the Building 204 chiller under Project 621-22-126. Both projects will be worked on concurrently over 300 calendar days. The solicitations are set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and have an estimated value between $1-2 million. The scope of work includes demolition and disposal of existing chillers, purchase and installation of new approximately 80-ton and 120-ton chillers, associated pumps, controls, and commissioning. Contractors must submit preliminary designs and materials lists within 60 days of the notice to proceed and final closeout documents upon completion. The response deadline is February 1, 2022, and award is expected shortly thereafter.

Contractors shall, at all times, adhere to and ensure compliance with federal laws designed to protect contractor employee health information and personally identifiable information.
3. Contractor must immediately notify their COR or Contracting Officer if contract performance is jeopardized due to contractor employees being denied entry into VA Facilities.
