About this file
The document is a STERIS Installation Meeting Notes for a medical equipment installation at the Beckley VA Medical Center. The meeting, held on 04/23/2025, focused on installing two 7052 washers in the facility's sterile processing department (SPD). Key action items include modifying existing utility piping and stainless steel surrounds to accommodate the new equipment, with the customer responsible for renovation contractor selection and ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) needs.
The installation timeline involves a ship date of 05/28/2025, delivery on 06/12/2025, and an estimated installation date of 07/25/2025. The process will require 2 days for deinstallation, a break for customer renovation, followed by 3-4 days of installation and startup. Both units will be changed simultaneously, during which the customer will have no access to washers. Delivery requirements specify a loading dock truck level entry, with a recommendation for a box truck instead of a 5th wheel trailer.

Action Item 1 Existing conditions - existing washers are shorter. Customer stainless surround will need to be altered. Pictures attached show existing utility piping is too low in service area and will need modification to raise above 7052 height. Customer is aware.
Existing width will allow fit for 7052 , custom surround may need extended on sides to cover gap.
Action Item 2 Measured doors and reviewed loading dock. Space is acceptable and door height and width will allow access for new unit. Door slab to spd may need to be temporarily removed to gain 2 more inches of width. All level moving, no elevator needed.
Action Item 3 Customer to continue work with renovation contractor selection. Customer is responsible for all ICRA needs
