This document is a professional qualification sheet for Ravi Ambadipudi, a Project Manager and Contract Manager with 24 years of experience in transportation systems project management and engineering. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is soliciting On Call Transit Consultant Services through RFP BPM007068, establishing multiple contracts for multimodal transit consulting across six primary disciplines: Transit Planning Studies, Transit Planning Tasks, Transit Operations Planning, Transit Operations Tasks, Strategic Planning, and Coordination and Mobility Management Projects. Contractors will provide services on an as-needed basis through individual task assignments over a twelve-month initial contract term with potential extension up to forty-eight months total. His recent project experience demonstrates direct applicability to the solicitation, including roles as Project Manager for the MAG Zero Emissions Transit Feasibility Review, MAG Town of Queen Creek Mobility Study, NDOT Smart Mobility Roadmap, and various ADOT on-call contract tasks since 2022.
Compensation will be based on hourly rates for actual work performed, with task assignments specifying individual scopes of work, deliverables, and performance metrics. The contract establishes a 0.00% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goal, though DBE participation is encouraged. The procurement is funded through federal transit programs including FTA Sections 5311, 5310, and 5305. Eligible respondents include federally recognized tribal agencies, councils of governments, metropolitan planning organizations, non-profits, local governments, and transit authorities. The solicitation is structured to support rural and small urban transit services, transportation for elderly and disabled populations, and transit planning initiatives across Arizona. Ambadipudi's qualifications highlight his embedded quality assurance and quality control protocols, continuous validation against ADOT standards, and feedback loop mechanisms for continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.
