About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form required by 44 C.F.R. Part 18 for the Stormwater CRRP Construction WORCS Contract managed by Hillsborough County Engineering and Operations Department in Florida. The contract involves culvert repair and replacement work at various locations throughout northern Hillsborough County, with potential expansion to other areas of the County's stormwater infrastructure network. Work will be performed primarily north of I-4 and I-275, though assignments may occur throughout the County on an as-needed basis. The estimated contract value is $18,258,390.04.
This certification document applies to all bids or offers exceeding $100,000 and requires the contractor's authorized official to certify that no Federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal agency officers, Members of Congress, or congressional employees in connection with the contract award. The certification mandates that contractors disclose any non-Federal funds used for lobbying activities by submitting Standard Form-LLL and must include identical language in all subaward documents. Failure to submit the required certification subjects contractors to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The document is executed by the contractor's authorized official and is a material representation of fact required under 31 U.S.C. § 1352.
