About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for a Multiple Building Flooring Project at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (MACC# 24-0419, PROJECT# 24MO52CN, MAXIMO# 5422382). The project requires carpet removal and replacement with vinyl cove base installation across three buildings.
The scope encompasses three distinct project areas: Building 24, Room 210 (288 SF of carpet and 110 LF vinyl cove base); Building 1011, Rooms 202, 203, 206, 208, 209, and 210 (2,585 SF of carpet and 546 LF vinyl cove base); and Building 8, Command Deck, Meeting Room, offices and S4 wing (26,000 SF of carpet and 3,240 LF vinyl cove base). For all areas, the contractor must demo existing carpet, prep floors, apply Ardex Concrete Floor Sealer or equivalent, and install new carpet tiles with matching vinyl cove base. Building 24 and Building 1011 require Tarkett Abrasive Action 19101 Midnight Blue carpet tiles, while Building 8 requires Tarkett Abrasive Action Winter Grey 19103 carpet tiles. The contractor is responsible for taking field measurements, replacing any disturbed thresholds and vinyl wall base, cleaning all debris and over-spray, and repairing areas damaged by new work. Work must be coordinated with building occupants through designated points of contact and completed during standard working hours (0730-1800 Monday-Friday), with the option to schedule weekend and holiday work by agreement. The contractor must submit manufacturer's product specifications and technical data for approval and provide warranty coverage per the Combined Division 01 Specifications. Asbestos Reports are attached as hazardous materials documentation.
