About this file
This is a pre-proposal meeting directions document for the Broward County Aviation Department's procurement of Parking Management Services for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The solicitation seeks a qualified firm to manage daily operations of public and employee parking garages and lots, including valet services, issuance and use of parking media, enforcement of parking rules, and other requirements outlined in the scope of services. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled at Terminal 4, Conference Rooms B and C at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), located at 320 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315. The document provides detailed step-by-step directions from multiple directions (north, south, and from Fort Lauderdale Beach) and parking instructions, with specific guidance for accessing the Palm Garage and navigating to the conference rooms on the third floor of Terminal 4. Attendees should use the Upper crosswalk to enter at Level 2/Departures, take the elevator on the far left to the third floor, and proceed down the hallway to find Conference Rooms B and C on the right side.
The solicitation requires vendors to submit all available documentation and information for evaluation, with both required and optional items encouraged for timely and comprehensive review. Key solicitation provisions include bonding requirements, living wage compliance, workforce investment program participation, and Title VI solicitation notice compliance. However, Florida House Bill 433 (2024) provides that effective September 30, 2026, political subdivisions may not use purchasing or contracting procedures to control or affect vendor wages or employment benefits; if the solicitation is awarded on or after that date, local living wage ordinance provisions will not apply. The office of economic and small business development requirements are not applicable to this solicitation.
