About this file
This is an Insurance Requirements document for Broward County Aviation Department's Parking Management Services contract at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The document establishes minimum insurance coverage requirements that the selected vendor must maintain throughout the contract term. The scope of services includes managing daily operations of public and employee parking garages and lots, providing valet services, issuing and enforcing parking media usage, and enforcing parking rules.
The insurance requirements mandate comprehensive coverage across multiple categories, including General Liability with limits of $5,000,000 per occurrence and aggregate, Auto Liability at $2,000,000 for landside operations and $5,000,000 for airside operations, Worker's Compensation at statutory limits, Employer's Liability at $1,000,000, Crime coverage at $2,000,000, Garage Keepers' Liability at $1,000,000, Cyber Liability at $5,000,000, and Pollution/Environmental Liability at $5,000,000 with a maximum deductible of $50,000. All certificates of insurance must list Broward County as the certificate holder and additional insured party, with the vendor providing primary coverage that does not require contribution from the County. The vendor is responsible for all coverage deductibles unless otherwise specified in the agreement, and the County must receive 30 days' written notice of cancellation and 10 days' notice for non-payment cancellations.
