About this file

This is Addendum Number 3 to the bidding documents for the Hollins High School Lift Station Replacement project issued by Pinellas County Schools, dated August 27, 2026, and modifying the original bidding documents from July 10, 2026. The addendum addresses clarifications and questions submitted by bidders regarding project specifications and drawings through a questions-and-answers format. Key clarifications include confirmation that the existing control cabinet will be reused rather than replaced; that electrical specifications require three #6 AWG hot conductors, one #6 AWG neutral conductor, and one #10 AWG ground conductor (correcting previous documentation); that junction boxes must comply with manufacturer recommendations or the National Electrical Code; that floats meeting design criteria are acceptable with four floats required per Sheet C4.0; that a junction box is required between the wet well and control cabinet; that an electrical permit is required; and that the RPZ (reduced pressure zone backflow preventer) is 1 inch in size. The addendum also directs bidders to Sheet C4.0 for details regarding air release valves, pressure gauges, PVC vent piping, and drop bowl assemblies, and notes that the lift station's rail system is proprietary and must be compatible with the selected pump.

No changes to drawings or specifications are noted in this addendum, and no attachments are included. The addendum consists of two pages and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt on the bid form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification from consideration.
