About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service employees in Michigan counties (Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau) under Wage Determination No. 2015-5955, Revision 3, effective December 3, 2025.
The wage determination lists approximately 200 occupation codes and corresponding hourly rates ranging from $13.62 to $56.63. Rates vary by job classification level within occupational categories; for example, Accounting Clerks range from $17.59 (Level I) to $22.08 (Level III), while Registered Nurses range from $26.24 (Level I) to $46.55 (Level IV). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly) or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly, with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706 for paid sick leave purposes. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and five weeks after 25 years; minimum twelve paid holidays annually; and hazardous duty differentials of 8 percent or 4 percent where applicable. Uniform allowances are provided at $3.35 per week for maintenance costs. Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 apply minimum wage requirements to covered federal contracts, with EO 13658 requiring no less than $13.30 per hour for contracts awarded between January 1, 2015 and January 29, 2022.
