About this file
This document is an Authorized Release Certificate and Work Order Inspection Report for an aircraft component overhaul and repair.
The Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3) issued by TAG Aero, LLC on August 25, 2022, certifies the overhaul of one APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) model GTC P85-129H, part number 380428-10-1, serial number P-35109C. The work was performed in accordance with Honeywell publications manual ATA 49-25-45 Revision 06 and EASA implementation rule part 145 approval number EASA.145.6499. The component has been overhauled, tested, and approved for return to service under 14 CFR 43.9 regulations. Christopher W. Berry, an authorized FAA representative, signed the certificate on behalf of TAG Aero, LLC, which holds FAA CRS #3UAR147C.
The Work Order Inspection Report documents Work Order No. 31670, issued July 21, 2022, with a due date to be determined. The APU received from AAR Supply Chain, Inc. was in fair general condition with noted damage including a sheared cooling fan gear and cracked compressor blades. The detailed overhaul included replacement of multiple components—compressor and turbine assemblies, baffle assemblies, accessory gearcase, cooling fan, oil pump, fuel control, combustion assembly, and starter—all performed using manufacturer-approved specifications. Additional work encompassed repairs to wiring harnesses, exhaust duct, oil tank, air duct, and pressure switches. The APU underwent full performance and operational checks with all parameters verified within acceptable limits before preservation with MIL-PRF-6081 Grade 10/10 lubricant and final airworthiness compliance.
