About this file
This document is a NEPA Environmental Checklist used to determine the environmental requirements associated with a proposed project to provide preventive maintenance and repairs to emergency generators at Naval Submarine Base New London. The project is scheduled to begin on 2/1/2025 and is classified as a maintenance and repair activity that does not require further NEPA analysis. However, the project must comply with various environmental requirements, including obtaining permits, consultations, and inspections related to coastal zone management, cultural resources, air quality, and waste management. The checklist identifies specific environmental requirements that the contractor must address during the design and operational phases of the project.
The related federal contract opportunity is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide emergency generator maintenance and repair services at the Naval Submarine Base New London. The contract will be a Commercial Services Firm-Fixed Price contract with a base period of 12 months and four 12-month option periods. The procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with proposals due on 12/23/2024. The award will be made to the responsible offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal, based on price, corporate experience, and past performance.
