About this file

This document is a Revised Definition of Contract Line Items for a federal contract opportunity to conduct a Non-Time Critical Removal Action (NTCRA) under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) at the Caneel Bay Resort in the Virgin Islands National Park.

The key details are:

  • The work includes removing approximately 13,000 bank cubic yards (BCY) of contaminated soil and landfill refuse and 40 loose CY of contaminated sediment, transporting it to disposal facilities, and performing limited site restoration such as spreading clean fill, grading, and seeding.
  • The contract will use unit-priced items subject to the variation in quantity clause, with a ceiling and notification requirements. The intent is to remove sufficient material to reach the Site's removal action objectives.
  • The contract is a best value, negotiated procurement set-aside for Small Business concerns, with a magnitude estimated between $5-10 million. Proposals are due approximately 30 days after the RFP is posted.
