About this file
This document is a revised definition of contract line items (CLINs) for a federal contract opportunity to conduct a Non-Time Critical Removal Action (NTCRA) under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) at the Caneel Bay Resort within the Virgin Islands National Park.
The key details are:
- The contract will remove approximately 13,000 bank cubic yards (BCY) of contaminated soil and landfill refuse, and 40 loose cubic yards (LCY) of contaminated sediment, transporting it to approved disposal facilities and performing limited site restoration.
- The contract will use unit-priced items subject to the variation in quantity clause, with an established ceiling and notification requirements.
- The contract is a best value negotiated procurement set-aside for small businesses, with a value between $5-10 million.
- Proposals are due approximately 30 days after the Request for Proposals (RFP) is posted, and will consist of two volumes (technical and price).
- The government will award to the firm whose offer represents the best value.
