About this file
This document provides details for a solicitation seeking demolition and replacement construction services at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The solicitation involves four separate but related construction projects: demolishing and replacing facilities damaged by volcanic activity at Uekahuna Bluff and Jaggar Museum; realigning Crater Rim Drive and expanding the entrance station to improve visitor safety; replacing a damaged fiber optic line; and replacing a failing water distribution system. Prospective offerors must submit proposals by May 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM HT to the National Park Service for evaluation. Evaluation criteria include the offeror's project experience, technical approach, management approach, proposed schedule, and past performance. The award will be made as a best value determination to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and provides the greatest overall benefit to the government.
