About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document (Amendment 0001) for Solicitation 140FGA26R0006, issued by the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for the Montezuma NWR New Multipurpose Facility project. The document does not address specific products or services required, pricing, or other substantive contract terms. Rather, it addresses three questions from bidders regarding geotechnical and subsurface investigation requirements for the project.
In response to bidder inquiries about the availability of geotechnical reports and guidance on subsurface conditions, the government confirmed that two geotechnical reports have been completed and attached to Amendment 0001: "2303568_FINAL_MNWR_Geotech_Report_R1-Nov2024" and "21003122A - Montezuma NWR - Geotechnical Report Sealed." These attachments provide bidders with the necessary subsurface investigation data to inform their design and pricing assumptions, eliminating the need for bidders to rely on typical soil condition assumptions and reducing the risk of differing interpretations regarding site conditions.
