About this file
This is a Vendor Questions and Answers (Q&A) Tracker document for RFQ 1305M326Q0464 addressing a Humidification System installation project. The document does not contain pricing terms, response dates, or award information, as it solely documents clarifications provided to potential vendors regarding technical specifications and contractual requirements.
The project involves installing a new water filtration system with two filters and manifold upstream of a Condair Nortec humidifier (part# 3M HF60-S or equivalent) serving two Air Handling Units (AHU-1 and AHU-2), along with two Condair Nortec Steam Distributor BSD 18-inch units (P/N 255-3729). The filtration system must use 0.2 micron rated filters, with readily accessible replacement capability. The work location is in Suffolk County (Upton), New York, governed by Wage Determination 2015-4157 Revision 33 dated 8.12.2026. Prime contractors must provide proof of standard commercial HVAC licensing and maintain adequate general liability and workers' compensation insurance; no permits are required. All service personnel must be factory-trained in HVAC work and knowledgeable of equipment installation specifications. The contractor personnel providing training to local staff must be Condair Factory trained. Site access requires coordination with the Logistics Point of Contact (LPOC) for shutdown windows, and contractor personnel will be escorted after satisfying Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) clearance requirements. Amendment 0001 is the only amendment issued, and signed copies of SF 1449 forms for the RFQ and all amendments are required with quote submission.
