About this file

This document provides coverage under a statewide general permit for a culvert replacement project in Wisconsin. The US Forest Service is permitting the Town of Drummond in Bayfield County to replace two 24-inch diameter culverts with a 77-inch by 52-inch by 46.5 foot poly coated pipe set two feet deeper under FR 374 over Jackson Creek. The project meets eligibility criteria and permit conditions, including not impacting wetlands or endangered species. Work cannot occur in the creek from March 1 to June 15 to avoid impacts to aquatic life. Inspections may be conducted to ensure compliance. The municipality must obtain any other required local, state or federal permits before starting work.

This pre-solicitation announces a multiple award IDIQ for road and general construction services for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest with a period of five years and total value of $7 million. Work includes road, bridge, structure and site projects. Task orders will be competed amongst IDIQ holders and include project details. Services include road, trail, and bridge work; structures; excavation; and gravel pit development. Projects will be located on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest but may also include other Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan Forest Service units. The NAICS is 237310 with a $39.5 million small business size standard. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses. Offerors must register in SAM.gov which is free of charge.
