About this file

This is a Resident Bidder Certification form required by the Amarillo Independent School District for the CSP 4063 Roofing & HVAC Replacement project at De Zavala, Mesa Verde, and Humphrey's Highland schools. The District is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction services related to roofing and HVAC replacement across these three facilities. Proposals must be submitted by 1:30 P.M. Local Time on February 20, 2026, either electronically through https://amaisd.bonfirehub.com/portal or as three hard copies delivered to the Amarillo ISD Purchasing Department at 7200 Interstate 40 West, Amarillo, TX 79106. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for February 4, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the AISD Maintenance & Construction Office, 905 East Street, Amarillo, TX 79107. Proposals will be opened and read aloud at the deadline at the Amarillo ISD Education & Support Center, 7200 I-40 Frontage Road, Amarillo, Texas 79106.

All bidders must complete the Resident Bidder Certification form to be considered for the contract. The form distinguishes between resident bidders, defined as persons or contractors whose principal place of business is in Texas, and nonresident bidders, whose principal place of business is located outside Texas. Nonresident bidders must provide their resident state, number of employees in Texas, and information regarding any bidding disadvantages their residence state imposes on Texas-based vendors. A proposal guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to Amarillo ISD in an amount equal to 5% of the largest possible total proposal amount must accompany each submission.
