About this file
This is an H.B. 89 Verification form required by the State of Texas for the Amarillo Independent School District's competitive sealed proposal for roofing and HVAC replacement services at De Zavala, Mesa Verde, and Humphrey's Highland facilities. Under Texas Government Code Chapter 2270, as effective September 1, 2017, any for-profit company contracting with a local government entity must provide written verification that it does not boycott Israel and will not do so during the contract term. The verification form requires the company's authorized official to execute a statement defining "boycott" as refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, entities doing business in Israel, or Israeli-controlled territories, excluding actions made for ordinary business purposes. The form includes spaces for the company name, authorized official's signature, printed name, title, and date, followed by a notarization section requiring a notary public to verify the statement's authenticity.
This H.B. 89 Verification document must be submitted as part of the CSP 4063 proposal due February 20, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. local time to Amarillo ISD. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for February 4, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the AISD Maintenance & Construction Office. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee equal to 5 percent of the largest possible total contract amount, submitted in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to Amarillo ISD. Proposals may be submitted electronically through https://amaisd.bonfirehub.com/portal or as three hard copies mailed or hand-delivered to the Amarillo ISD Purchasing Department at 7200 Interstate 40 West, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
