About this file

This is a Construction Proposal Questionnaire for the Amarillo Independent School District (AISD) in Texas, designed to evaluate contractor qualifications for the Roofing & HVAC Replacement project at De Zavala, Mesa Verde, and Humphrey's Highland schools (CSP 4063). Proposals must be submitted by February 20, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. local time, either electronically through https://amaisd.bonfirehub.com/portal or as three hard copies delivered to the AISD Purchasing Department at 7200 Interstate 40 West, Amarillo, Texas 79106. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on February 4, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the AISD Maintenance & Construction Office, 905 East Street, Amarillo, Texas 79107. Proposals will be opened and read aloud at the deadline at the AISD Education & Support Center. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to Amarillo ISD in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total proposal amount.

The questionnaire requires comprehensive documentation across six sections: basic company information; construction experience including customer references and key personnel credentials; current workload and bonding capacity; safety records and programs; financial ability supported by audited financial statements, bank references, and Dun & Bradstreet ratings; and licensing and jurisdictional qualifications. Contractors must provide detailed information on prior AISD projects, personnel committed to the project, claims history, and current financial obligations. Special emphasis is placed on experience with K-12 school facility construction and renovation projects. All responses must be typed or copied on standard 8.5" x 11" letter-size paper, organized by tabs corresponding to questionnaire sections, and may be submitted either in hard copy or electronically to the bonfirehub portal.
