About this file
This document is a Proposal Requirements guide issued by Scottsdale Unified School District #48 in Arizona for an RFP related to Backflow Prevention Parts and Services. The solicitation seeks a qualified firm or firms to provide backflow prevention services on an as-needed basis, including annual inspections and certifications of fire, domestic, and irrigation devices, as well as repair or replacement of leaking or failed backflow prevention devices. The successful contractor(s) must furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to perform the work. Proposals are due on May 28, 2026, and must be submitted through the Bonfire platform. The District will not reimburse costs for proposal development or presentation.
Proposals must follow a specific format with indexed tabs and include a table of contents, cover letter, statement of qualifications and interest, explanation of service delivery capabilities, detailed technical responses, minimum of three references (preferably from local school districts and governmental agencies), identification of any consultants and their qualifications, and supporting exhibits or attachments. Proposals should clearly identify areas where the offeror cannot provide required services. The District emphasizes that proposal sections should be organized to facilitate evaluation committee review, with technical responses cross-referenced to corresponding requirements in the Scope of Work. No information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent status, funding sources, or contract duration is specified in this proposal requirements document.
