About this file

This risk assessment document outlines safety controls and mitigation plans for various training events in the Aviation Rescue Swimmer Preparatory Course at the Navy Aviation Schools Command in Pensacola, Florida. Hazards are identified for physical training activities like running, swimming, and weightlifting. Controls include proper warmups, safety briefings, compliance with safety procedures, emergency equipment, and instructor supervision. Residual risks are calculated after implementing controls. Instructors will conduct safety briefings, monitor adherence to student to instructor ratios, and implement lessons from critiques and drills to continuously improve safety.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command to develop course curriculum and provide instructor support services for training programs at the Navy Aviation Schools Command in Pensacola, Florida.
