About this file

Summary

This is a specification document package for the Willistown Township Police Building HVAC System Replacement project, a public works construction project located in Pennsylvania. The specifications detail comprehensive electrical systems requirements across multiple divisions including basic electrical materials and methods, selective demolition, low-voltage power conductors and cables, control-voltage cabling, grounding and bonding systems, hangers and supports, conduit systems, boxes, identification systems, wiring devices, and enclosed switches. The project involves replacing and upgrading the existing HVAC system at the police building. Sealed bids are being received online via PennBID until April 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM local time. All bidding documents are available through the designated PennBID website at https://pennbid.net/, where addenda and other project information will be posted. No specific site visit or bidders' conference dates are identified in the specifications, though bidders should review all addenda posted to the website prior to submission.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract price, along with necessary insurance documentation. All bidders must complete an anti-collusion affidavit. This contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, requiring contractors to pay workers the minimum wage rates established by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor. The specifications reference NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NECA standards, UL listings, and various other industry standards for installation and quality assurance. No specific budget amount, incumbent vendor information, or contract term details are provided in the electrical specifications section.
