About this file

This is a Claim of Business Confidentiality Form submitted in connection with the Lake Mountain School District Design-Build Services for Centralized Administrative Office Unification, a design-build project managed by Alpine School District's Department of Purchasing in Utah. The project involves turnkey design, permitting, procurement, and construction/renovation services for a 14,696-square-foot commercial office building. Construction is anticipated to commence on September 15, 2026, with substantial completion targeted for April 15, 2027. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. MST at 1307 North Commerce Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045, with bidders required to arrive early or on time as the walk-through will close promptly at the scheduled time. The RFP closing date and time is Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for the duration of the project, with a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score as justified by the procurement code.

The confidentiality form allows bidders to assert claims protecting specific business information submitted with their proposals, specifically non-public financial statements, employee contact information, customer lists, and other proprietary data that qualifies as trade secrets under Utah Code Annotated Section 13-24-2 or commercial information that could result in unfair competitive injury if disclosed. Bidders must identify the specific pages and paragraphs containing claimed confidential information and provide reasons for the classification. Notably, pricing and cost proposals may not be classified as confidential and will be considered public information, and entire proposals cannot be designated as protected or confidential. Bidders will be notified if any records claimed as protected are classified as public or if the governmental entity determines the record should be released after weighing relevant interests under applicable Utah statutes.
