About this file

This is a Bidder's Disclaimer Statement for the Hays Consolidated Independent School District in Texas, which requires all bidders to certify compliance with ethical and legal standards prior to submitting proposals for Property Management Services. Bidders must attest that they have not offered or conferred any pecuniary benefits, received preferential information, or engaged in bribery, improper influence, or collusion in connection with the bid process. Additionally, bidders must disclose any felony convictions of the business entity's owners or operators in accordance with Texas Education Code Section 44.034, unless the bidder is a publicly-held corporation. The document establishes that the District will not conduct business with its own trustees or employees and prohibits acceptance of gifts or entertainment from vendors.

The disclaimer further requires bidders to identify their demographic classification for reporting purposes, including options for Hispanic American, Black American, Asian Pacific American, Native American, or Woman status, along with gender designation where applicable. Bidders must also indicate whether they hold Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certification and provide the corresponding five-digit certification number if applicable. The statement emphasizes that all information provided must be accurate and truthful to the best of the authorized company official's knowledge, and the completed disclaimer must be returned with the bid submission. No pricing, contract term, or award information is specified in this document, as it functions solely as a compliance and eligibility verification form.
