About this file
This document is a Specification Section for flush wood doors related to the Chicopee Armory Rehabilitation project in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The section covers the requirements for solid-core flush wood doors with wood veneer faces, including factory finishing, fitting, and hardware preparation. The doors must comply with the AWI quality standard and fire-rating requirements. The manufacturer must be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for chain of custody. The doors are to be provided with a life-of-installation warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The project appears to be a public works contract, as evidenced by the requirement to comply with NFPA 80 for fire-rated doors. No specific bid due date, award date, or contract term is provided, but the document indicates the project is currently at the "Issued for Bid" stage.
