About this file

This is a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for KaVo Spray 2112, a professional-use aerosol product manufactured by Kaltenbach & Voigt GmbH. The product is classified as an extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1) under EC Regulation 1272/2008, with primary hazards being flammability and pressurized container risks.

The product contains 25-50% white mineral oil (petroleum) as a main component and requires specific handling precautions including keeping away from heat sources, avoiding spraying on open flames, and not exposing to temperatures above 50°C/122°F. The SDS details transportation requirements for the product under various modes (road, sea, air) with UN number 1950 for aerosols, and includes first aid measures, firefighting procedures, and spill response protocols. Environmental classification indicates it is slightly water contaminating (Class D: 1) but not classified as environmentally hazardous for transport purposes. The product is intended strictly for professional use and must be stored in well-ventilated areas away from ignition sources.
