About this file

This document is a Special Provisions section from Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) that outlines requirements for contractors working on the base. Key details include:

The contractor is responsible for dewatering excavated areas, using pre-approved haul routes, and adhering to airfield operations requirements such as equipment height limitations, requiring flight line driver training and radios for extended projects, and maintaining coordination with Airfield Management. Traffic control and barricading requirements are specified for automobile movement areas. Waste materials must be disposed of off-base. A winter recess between December 1 and March 1 can be negotiated as a no-cost contract modification.

The related federal contract opportunity is for HVAC diffuser and ductwork repair at TAFB, available only to TAFB MAC BOA holders.
