UNSPSC 45121616: Pan heads

UNSPSC 45121616 Pan heads is a Commodity code with little relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The seven opportunities in the recent-opportunities block that reference this code — spanning the City of Philadelphia (Nikon lens products, podcast and video equipment), the State of Illinois (video equipment), Sourcewell on behalf of multiple counties (law enforcement equipment), Hillsborough County Public Schools (studio equipment), the City of Pembroke Pines (network cameras), and the City of San Marcos (license plate recognition technology) — are substantially unrelated to fasteners or pan-head screws. The code's nominal scope does not match the equipment, technology, and systems integration work actually being solicited under the code number in these notices, suggesting a systematic tagging misalignment rather than genuine procurement demand for the commodity itself.

State and local procurement data does not support actionable activity under this code at this time. Vendors pursuing fastener or pan-head screw supply to state and local buyers should verify their code assignment with issuing procurement offices before investing resources in these opportunities, as the current tagging does not reflect the work scope being bought.
