RFI - AEGIS Combat System Support Equipment, Electronic Equipment Fluid Cooler, AN/SPY Radar Warhead Data Receiver Cabinets (WDRC)
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking potential sources to support engineering and production of critical naval combat system equipment for the U.S. Navy's AEGIS system. Specifically, the Request for Information (RFI) targets three primary components: AN/SPY Radar Warhead Data Receiver Cabinets (WDRC), AEGIS Combat System Support Equipment (ACSSE), and Electronic Equipment Fluid Coolers (EEFCs) to support fiscal years 2026 through 2030. Interested parties are required to demonstrate capabilities in producing complex tactical processing systems, maintaining technical data packages, and supporting shipboard equipment that meets rigorous military environmental standards. The RFI evaluates respondents based on company experience, production capacity, engineering support capabilities, and potential barriers to competition. Key evaluation criteria include safeguarding capabilities, quality management systems, systems engineering experience, and the ability to produce up to six shipsets annually with specified delivery timelines.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific business category and is open to qualified contractors. The government anticipates most work will be performed at the contractor's site, with potential production of up to six shipsets per year of each component type. Delivery timelines vary, with EEFCs requiring twenty-four months after award, WDRC systems needing twenty-two months, and ACSSE equipment requiring twelve months post-award. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive nature of the equipment suggests a potentially significant contract value. An industry day is planned for January 9, 2025, and interested parties must submit their response by March 7, 2025, with responses limited to twenty pages. Respondents must provide detailed information about their production capabilities, engineering support, and potential obstacles to competition in an unclassified format.

11/6/24, 3:27 PM AMPLIFIER, AUDIO FRE - AND OTHER REPLACEMENT PARTS
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is soliciting bids for multiple electronic components, including a Microwave Unit, Motional Joint Assembly, Circuit Card Assembly, Extender Card, Electronic Amplifier, Crystal Oscillator, Beam Filter Unit, and Power Cable Assembly. The contract is designed to procure specialized electronic parts likely for military equipment, with strict manufacturing and quality assurance requirements outlined in the detailed solicitation. Contractors must adhere to specific marking standards (MIL-STD-130), configuration control procedures, and undergo rigorous inspection processes. The solicitation indicates that only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's items will be considered for award, with some components requiring unique certification. The contract opportunity is posted with a due date of August 1, 2025, and contractors must carefully review and comply with numerous technical specifications and military standards.
The solicitation does not indicate a specific set-aside designation, suggesting the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. The contract appears to be a fixed-price (FFP) type with a required delivery date of December 31, 2026 or earlier. Specific cage codes and reference numbers are provided for each electronic component, with some items like the Electronic Amplifier having very specific procurement limitations (e.g., requiring certified Phalanx automated test equipment). The procurement is primarily for defense-related electronic components, with a focus on precise manufacturing and quality control. While no specific award value is mentioned, the complexity and specificity of the components suggest a potentially significant contract value. The technical requirements indicate these components are likely for sophisticated military systems, potentially related to radar, communication, or weapon control technologies.
