NIGP 95865: Livestock Management and Industry Services

NIGP 95865 Livestock Management and Industry Services, an Item code, encompasses services supporting agricultural infrastructure and venue operations tied to equestrian and livestock activities. State and local governments buy design, engineering, and operational support for facilities hosting rodeos, equestrian events, and agricultural programming, as well as maintenance services for irrigation systems serving municipal properties. The issuing bodies include city governments and municipal consolidations in Georgia and Utah. Recent solicitations show demand for specialized facility planning and professional engineering services rather than direct livestock husbandry or veterinary work.

Columbus Consolidated Government (Georgia) posted RFP No. 27-0010 on August 11, 2026 (due September 30, 2026) for on-call irrigation installation and maintenance services under a two-year contract with three optional one-year renewals, selecting both a Primary and Secondary contractor to provide labor, equipment, and materials across municipal facilities. Herriman City (Utah) issued RFP HERR07222026 on July 22, 2026 (due August 27, 2026) for architecture, design, and engineering services for the Butterfield Arena and Event Center, a rodeo and equestrian events venue with agricultural programming; the City requires proposers to demonstrate experience with arena design, equestrian facilities, and spectator venues of 4,000 seats or greater, with lump-sum fee pricing and interviews targeted for late August and notice of award September 24. Activity appears sparse under this code, concentrated in Georgia and Utah, with no recent opportunities posted from school districts, transit authorities, or other state-level agencies.
