UNSPSC 70121605: Farm rearing systems

UNSPSC 70121605 Farm rearing systems (Commodity) shows little relevant recent activity. The three most recent state and local opportunities posted under this code are a Klein ISD Career Technical Education and Advanced Academics procurement covering 17 distinct CTE instructional program areas including agricultural science, an aerial thermal survey for white-tailed deer conducted by the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, and a City Manager executive search services procurement by the City of College Park, Georgia. None of these solicitations involve the farm rearing equipment, livestock housing systems, or animal husbandry infrastructure that the code's nominal scope suggests. The mismatch between the code assignment and the actual work being procured indicates either tagging inconsistency in the underlying data or that the code is not currently seeing meaningful state and local procurement activity aligned with its intended commodity category.

The geographic spread evident in the limited records spans Texas (Klein ISD), Illinois (Kane County), and Georgia (College Park), with no concentration in any particular state or region. Given the absence of aligned procurement activity—the code shows no recent solicitations for the agricultural equipment, livestock facilities, or farm infrastructure that would constitute genuine farm rearing systems procurement—there is insufficient activity to characterize issuing-body patterns or establish this code as a meaningful target for business development efforts in state and local contracting.
