NIGP 57034: License Plates Complete (Purchased Through Bid Process)

NIGP 57034 License Plates Complete (Purchased Through Bid Process), an Item code, covers the procurement of finished license plates by state and local motor-vehicle agencies through competitive bidding. State departments of motor vehicles and transportation are the primary issuing bodies under this code, soliciting complete license plate sets—including standard passenger plates, commercial plates, specialty plates, and replacement stock—rather than component manufacturing or blank stock. The work involves either purchasing manufactured plates meeting state-specific specifications or securing supply agreements for ongoing plate replacement and renewal demand across vehicle registration cycles.

The source provided contains no recent state or local contract opportunities under this code. No geographic concentration, issuing-body mix beyond the category description, or representative solicitation detail can be derived from the available information at this time.
