Orange County Transportation Authority is soliciting quotes for Horizon Folder preventive maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis under RFQ C260510, with quotes due October 26, 2026. The contract term runs two years from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2028, with a $40,000 total budget allocation.
The scope encompasses quarterly preventive maintenance for three automated folding and processing units—an AFV-566F Automated Folder (Serial Number 009002), a TV-564F Automated RA Folder (Serial Number 01101), and a BGV-56 Bridge Unit—plus on-call, after-hours emergency services available hourly. Replacement parts, components, or materials are excluded from maintenance pricing and must be quoted separately with prior written authorization before installation. OCTA does not guarantee minimum or maximum service usage levels.
Contractors must comply with Level 1 safety specifications for equipment maintenance work and maintain commercial general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate; automobile liability insurance with a combined single limit of $1 million per accident for owned, hired, and non-owned vehicles; workers' compensation as required by California; and employers' liability with minimum limits of $1 million per accident and per disease category. All policies must designate OCTA, its officers, directors, and employees as additional insureds with waivers of subrogation. Proof of insurance must be submitted within ten calendar days of agreement execution to InsureTrack at octa@instracking.com, with the Certificate of Insurance displaying BPO Number C260510 and Contract Administrator Dara Doeum.
