About this file
This is a Scope of Work (SOW) document for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) regarding preventative maintenance and repair services for Horizon Folder equipment. The SOW outlines the service requirements for maintaining and repairing Horizon Folder systems on an as-needed basis throughout a two-year contract term. The services encompass routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance, emergency repairs to address system failures, and parts replacement as necessary. The contractor must provide timely response to maintenance requests, with specific service level agreements governing response times for urgent versus routine issues. The contract term spans two years from the effective date, with potential renewal options at OCTA's discretion based on contractor performance and budgetary considerations.
The contract has a total budget allocation of $40,000 for the entire two-year service period, with pricing structured to cover both preventative maintenance activities and emergency repair services on an as-needed basis. The contractor must maintain adequate inventory of replacement parts and ensure qualified technicians are available to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. OCTA retains the right to evaluate contractor performance based on response times, quality of work, and adherence to service level agreements. No specific set-asides or incumbent contractor preferences are noted in this SOW, and funding is provided through OCTA's operational budget for equipment maintenance and support services.
