The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a user-friendly teletherapy platform with secure communication, appointment scheduling, clinical tools, language support, technical support, and physical hardware if applicable. Vendors must demonstrate experience, compliance with relevant regulations, scalability, customization options, training programs, and reporting capabilities. TAMUC will evaluate proposals based on demonstrated competence, qualifications, and the reasonableness of the proposed fee. The original contract period will be for three (3) years from the date of award. Proposals are due by 3:00 PM Central Time on August 20, 2024.
TAMUC requires a HUB Subcontracting Plan if subcontractors will be used to meet the scope of the RFP. The RFP indicates a budget of $1.7 million for this initiative, with the contractor responsible for enrolling community members not associated with the university. TAMUC estimates the target population to be roughly 100,000 lives. The RFP does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources beyond the $1.7 million budget, but it is an open competitive procurement process seeking innovative telehealth solutions to serve the broader Hunt County community.
