About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers summary for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) for Partnership for Mental Telehealth Services. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide mental health teletherapy solutions to serve various rural areas in Hunt County, Texas. The goal is to enhance access to mental health services for individuals living in remote and underserved areas. TAMUC has a budget of $1.7 million for this project and is open to both in-person and telehealth-only solutions. The RFP specifies that the contractor will be responsible for enrolling community members not associated with the university. TAMUC estimates a target population of roughly 100,000 lives. A HUB Subcontracting Plan is required if the contractor plans to utilize subcontractors to meet the scope of the RFP.

The RFP does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources beyond the $1.7 million budget. However, it is clear that TAMUC is seeking innovative solutions to improve mental health access in the rural Hunt County region through this competitive procurement process.
