About this opportunity

The Florida Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide annual conference planning and management services. The DRC, established in 1986, is a statewide center for education, training, and research in alternative dispute resolution. The annual DRC conference can be held virtually on a single day or in-person over multiple days, and typically involves educational seminars, workshops, and plenary sessions. The virtual conference has an estimated attendance of 1,400, while the in-person event has an estimated 1,000 attendees. The successful vendor will be responsible for all aspects of conference planning and execution, including event software, website, registration, marketing, and reporting. The contract term is for 3 years, with the potential for up to 3 one-year renewals. Vendors must have experience planning conferences of similar size, with at least 500 attendees. Evaluation will be based on attendee feedback and specified reporting requirements. The ITN indicates that the incumbent contractor is Bonda Experiences, Inc., who has managed the event for the past 6 years.

The contract opportunity is open to all qualified vendors, but the ITN includes several compliance requirements, such as registration with E-Verify, prohibitions on forced labor and human trafficking, and notification of changes to business status. There are no set-aside designations, but the ITN does not indicate a specific budget range or award value. Pricing will be based on a fixed fee, with optional services priced separately. The DRC conference does not have a trade show component, and the event must comply with ADA accessibility requirements.

The Florida Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) was established in 1986 by Supreme Court of Florida Chief Justice Joseph Boyd and FSU College of Law Dean Talbot "Sandy" D'Alemberte as the first statewide center for education, training, and research in the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The DRC Conference is held virtually on a single day or in-person over multiple days at a location generally in Central Florida. Both conference formats involve educational seminars, workshops, and large-group plenary sessions. The multi-day in-person conferences involve, discussion forums, as well as other professional development activities. The virtual conference attendance is estimated at approximately 1,400 attendees and the in-person attendance is estimated at approximately 1,000 attendees.
